3 Sexy Cocktails In Buenos Aires
So during my influencer weekend in Buenos Aires, I had the opportunity to go out for sexy cocktails.
Now you know I’m a total cocktail gal – in New York I have my hotspots. During this go-round I wanted to experience the nightlife alone … yet be safe at the same time.
And so I went on a sexy cocktail tour!
What is a Sexy Cocktails tour?
A cocktail tour is like any other kind of tour a person might take when they are visiting a new country.
Usually led by a “local” these sexy cocktail tours will show you spots for popular cocktails and classic cocktails around the city.
I love sweet cocktails, for example, but you can have any cocktail you want – vodka cocktails, gin cocktails – the bartenders ask you what you like and make it for you.
Choosing your Sexy Cocktail Tour
Some tours are 100% inclusive while others work on a pay as you go model.
I wanted a man to be my tour guide – don’t ask me why! His name was Max and as you can imagine, he was totally hot.
You won’t believe this, but Max does modeling from time to time, but also develops websites for more of a steady income.
He bartends too – which is why he was friends with all the bartenders we met on the tour.
Here is where he took me – and another couple that night.
Sexy Cocktails Bar Gran Danzon

Bar Gran Danzon was fun, but it’s more for couples who want a luxurious place to chill out. You’ll find a totally lush cocktail lounge, radiating comfort and luxury.
You know the kind – beige furniture, fancy cocktails.
Certainly not your classic lower East Side Manhattan goth bar.
What I liked best about it was that it was kind of a secret hideaway. You can’t see it from the street.
We entered by walking up a dark staircase, with candles guiding the way.
Sexy Cocktails Doppelganger

This was totally my kind of bar. Max arranged for it to open for us, but lots of neighborhood people came too.
It’s such an old fashioned bar it’s hip again. The mixologists dress like old-fashioned bartenders and wear the traditional outfit of the classic bartender. You know the type – a starched white shirt, vest, suspenders, black bands on their arms, and a black apron.
I ordered a Campari and gin cocktail. It was pretty good, but the mixologist show was even better. Here the bartenders like to show off their mixologist skills (i.e. a technique of mixing the ingredients called rolling), rendering the evening a lot of fun.
Sexy Cocktails Trade Sky Bar

At first, I didn’t know why this bar was such a big deal. We entered through an office building (it’s called the Comega building, the first reinforced skyscraper built in Argentina dating from the 1930s.)
We took an elevator up to a fancy, but otherwise looking room that had a 360 view of the city.
Okay, nice enough.
But then we ducked into this secret hallway, and climbed three stories up to the rooftop.
Man, what a scene.
It was a gorgeous night in the height of the Buenos Aires summer, and really great music was playing.
Max got us all cocktails and we sat down at a VIP table to admire the view. You can see everything from here.
Back at my hotel, I thought about the evening and decided I was glad that I went with the group. It was better than going alone, since I don’t speak Spanish.
… and I could have gotten myself in too much trouble!
The Argentine peso is impossible as well … a thousand pesos seems like a lot of money, but it might not even buy you a cocktail …
… at least in New York.
Anyway, that’s my adventure.
